Narrow cabinet

The inspiration for this narrow cabinet I found during a holiday in Italy at the Lago Maggiore I visited the Isla di Pescatore.

On this beautiful little island it was the first time I saw white peacocks.

I knew the colored ones, but even did not know that white peacocks existed. Several of them were parading on the green lawns in a park.

They were very generous in spreading out their tail.

In the Mediterranean light the white tails were whiter then white and I thought that an angels wing must look like these peacock tails.

White narrow cabinet

The title of this narrow cabinet, Pauwenparade 2, means Peacock Parade.

The cabinet photo is a mirrored version of Pauwenparade 2, painted in white. The Pauwenparade 1.

The tail of a peacock gives many opportunities for decorating.

Different patterns and color schemes.

And to have a parade means you to be more than one.

The cupboard legs at the back are placed slightly to the front so you can place the cabinet directly to the wall without being obstructed by the baseboards.
